Harrison Bear
Barcelona
It’s Spain.
Of all the poaces we have included (missing out
Disney World, San Francisco etc), Barcelona is the
big tourist place.
It’s obvious why, but it’s not a great place to visit.
The locals don’t like the tourists very much, but they do
like their money.
There are long queues for everything, it’s all slow and
approximate, the food is acceptable but expensive
though there is nice beer. Restaurant service was,
well, adequate.
It’s not a place for bears, and we didn’t see any bears
shops.
We took a bus tour which was slow and hot and
disorganised and expensive.
There’s the Gaudi stuff to see, of course, but again,
long long queues.
The flight from the UK is not so long and getting from
the sirport to the centre was quite easy.
We went in October and it was hot. Summer is bound
to be far to hot for anyone with fluff in their veins.
